Find the Nutrition You Need

Proper nutrition is critical to a healthy pregnancy and postpartum period for both mom and baby. Through the Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC), Arkansas women can ensure they and their children get access to the food they need to thrive.

The WIC nutrition program provides tangible nutrition support and health services for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children under age five in Arkansas. This program is comprehensive, and helps many Arkansas families reduce out-of-pocket costs and create  healthy habits that fit their lifestyles. WIC is so much more than formula – it’s an extensive program that keeps mothers and their children fed, strong and equipped to succeed.

WIC services include:

  • Nutritious Supplemental Foods
  • Nutrition Education
  • Information, Support, and Encouragement for Breastfeeding
  • Referrals for Other Health Services

WIC Qualifications

If you’re pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or caring for a child under five, you may qualify for WIC if you:

  • Meet Income Guidelines
  • Have a Nutritional Need
  • Live in Arkansas
