Arkansas is taking bold steps to strengthen maternal and infant health across the state. To address these challenges, the Arkansas Department of Health and other partners have launched a statewide maternal health initiative focused on improving outcomes for both mothers and babies.

Introducing Claim Your Care

Claim Your Care is a statewide campaign designed to increase early access to maternal healthcare by positioning Arkansas Health Units as the first point of contact for pregnancy-related services. Messaging is tailored to the unique needs of pregnant women, women who may be pregnant and their support networks, particularly in Medicaid-eligible and rural communities. This campaign creates a trusted brand behind Arkansas Health Units, while putting a stake in the ground that women deserve support throughout pregnancy and beyond.

The Rallying Cry

Claim Your Care is a call to action designed to empower women to seek the care they need and deserve from their Arkansas Health Unit. The message encourages women to confirm a pregnancy, schedule a checkup, ask questions, and connect to the full range of resources available to them. “Claim” is intentionally active; it signals momentum and participation, transforming information into a movement women can stand behind. Every part of the campaign gives women the language and confidence to step forward and take what is already theirs, while reinforcing the Arkansas Health Units’ role as an accessible starting point that unlocks care, guidance and support from the very beginning.
